The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.C. Gainford replaced K.C. Sexton on Grennanstown Lady, trained by Gerard Keane (Race 1)(stood down).
S.D. Torrens replaced K.C. Sexton on Doyen Wolf, trained by J.R.Finn (Race 5)(stood down).

330C Callan Tansey (Mares) H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Shannon Bank, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Shannon Bank, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the last with a circuit to go.

H.E. Sexton, rider of Shing Shilla, trained by Adrian Sexton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went wrong.

330D John Thomas McNamara Series(QR)Mdn Hdle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from James Andrew Fahey, trainer of Insouciant Dallier (FR), for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

Mr P.W. Gleeson, rider of Elsa Bay, trained by William P Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his saddle slipped.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight with a circuit to go involving Insouciant Dallier (FR), ridden by Miss H. Heffernan, placed first, Keaner's Boy, ridden by Mr B.M. Coonan, unplaced and Diaduit Buachaill, ridden by Mr J.M. Halford, unplaced, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Miss H. Heffernan stated that she felt she was going to clip heels so pulled out as a preventative measure. Mr B.M. Coonan stated that he felt pressure from Insouciant Dallier (FR). Mr J.M. Halford stated that he felt pressure from the inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted other than to remind Miss H. Heffernan to be mindful of the horses around her when making a manoeuver.

Mr P.J. O'Neill, rider of Snugsborough Force, trained by J.P.Broderick, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered as a result of the saddle slipping on Elsa Bay.

330E Sligo Races Vintage Friday H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from J.R.Finn, trainer of Doyen Wolf, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

330F Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn H'dle

S.D. Torrens, rider of Additional Time, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Villagers Cross, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount took a false step.

330G Sligo Races Halloween H'cap H'dle

J.C. Gainford, rider of Gather Yourself, trained by Cian Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed A.M. King, rider of Cornmarket, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had used his whip inappropriately. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3.(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays.
